Terms of use
The conditions for using the community Archive and its connection to Benny.
Text version 2026-10-18.2 · Revised
Scope and independent operation
These terms describe use of the Dispel Dice Emporium Archive and its connected Benny tools, which I maintain as appa. They apply alongside the Privacy notice and, when you contribute material, the Submission terms. Discord and other external services have their own terms. Contact & removal requests explains how to reach me.
The Archive is an independent community reference. Dispel Dice and other named makers, artists, collaborators, and sellers do not operate or endorse it merely because their products or work appear here.
Accounts and access
Use only accounts and records you are authorized to access. Keep your Google account, email, Discord account, and devices secure, do not share session tokens, and tell me if you suspect unauthorized access. Signing in does not grant reviewer, contributor-manager, Worldbuilder, or administrator privileges.
Do not impersonate another contributor, evade access restrictions, interfere with the service, upload malicious material, or disclose private records without authorization. Access or publication may be restricted to address abuse, a security incident, a rights concern, or an editorial issue. You may contact me to ask for a restriction or decision to be reviewed.
Research, names, links, and accuracy
The Archive is a developing research record and may contain omissions, errors, disputed dates, historical names, and collector accounts. A release announcement, convention appearance, preorder, restock, and observation of a current catalogue are different events. An unknown release date remains unknown until supported by evidence.
A catalog name or source link is not certification of authenticity, ownership, condition, rarity, market value, stock, or delivery. Source websites can change or disappear. Confirm purchase and product information with the seller. Report corrections with the affected page and supporting source.
Ownership, attribution, and reuse
Creators and other rights holders retain their rights in photographs, writing, artwork, trademarks, and other material. Publication here does not transfer ownership or make that material public domain. Credit alone is not permission to copy or commercially reuse a work.
Use an expressly stated license according to its conditions, obtain permission from the relevant rights holder, or rely on an applicable legal exception. Nothing in these terms removes rights or exceptions provided by applicable law. The Archive cannot grant rights it does not hold.
Submission terms describe the limited permission requested for deliberate contributions. Merely browsing, signing in, or reading these terms does not create a contribution license, record consent, change an earlier license, or authorize partner analytics.
Collections and transactions
Personal lists and Benny records help collectors organize their activity. The Archive is not the seller, buyer, escrow provider, payment processor, guarantor, or authenticator for a collector transaction. Participants remain responsible for their descriptions, permissions, payments, delivery arrangements, and obligations to one another.
Keep your own records for transactions and valuable content. Device drafts, readable list exports, moderation records, and save receipts each have limits described in Privacy; none is a promise of a complete permanent backup.
Service availability and limits
The Archive and its reference material are provided as available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operators make no warranty of uninterrupted service, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from error, and disclaim implied warranties to that extent. Features may be corrected, changed, suspended, or retired.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operators are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Archive or reliance on its community reference material. This does not exclude liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, or any liability or statutory right that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
Changes, questions, and rights requests
The displayed version and revision date identify this text. Changes apply prospectively; they do not rewrite a permission previously supplied with a contribution. A new use requiring consent needs its own explanation and choice.
Contact me through Contact & removal requests for questions, corrections, privacy concerns, or rights complaints. State the page and requested action and provide a reply method. These terms do not prevent you from exercising applicable statutory rights or contacting an appropriate authority.
